Queen Anne Backyard Oasis

A new terraced juniper raised bed, wrap around perennial landscape and bluestone patio transformed this backyard into a peaceful and colorful refuge.  

Taking advantage of the northern sunny edge of the yard, the vegetable garden takes up a small footprint while sill allowing for several hundred square feet of productive space.  The southern and western portions of the yard are filled with fruit trees, pollinator attracting flowers and native groundcovers.  The outdoor seating area connects to the adjacent driveway and kitchen door to allow easy access to the space and encourage everyday use.
